Awesome stuff in this blog post! I am the world's biggest coffee lover and I am continually trying new varieties but also always trying to find the ideal cup of coffee which I am perfectly content with. And because of that I'm always glad to find out more.

You forgot to mention the most interesting thing about Coffee Alamid -- these are coffee beans that were EATEN by the wild Alamid and collected from their droppings in the forest and washed out.

Oh and it might interest tourists to know that sewerage, septage and solid waste from Tagaytay that is not well managed ends up in the beautiful view. Hate to burst your bubble but it's true, almost half of the waste in Tagaytay is not collected and is either burned or dumped. To be fair, that's a higher collection rate than other cities. But other cities do not have a beautiful view to dump the rest in, so try to bring waste back with you to dispose of OUTSIDE the Taal Volcano Protected Area (which goes up to the ridge) so it does not end up in the lake in the next heavy rain.
